With a wide choice of bale handlers, bale spikes, subsoilers, livestock boxes, trailers, slashers/toppers, forage boxes, yard scrapers, transport boxes and scrub cutters available, there is a quality built Foster machine ideal for any job requiring one of these machines.
Foster Bale Handlers
Foster manufacturer three types of bale handlers; the round bale stacker, the universal bale handler and the versatile bale handler.
The round bale handler allows you to lift a round bale from its side and invert through 90 degrees to stack it on its end. The arms open to 1700mm and close to 320mm and each arm can be locked off making loading from a stack much easier. You can choose from weld or bolt on brackets.
The universal bale handler is an all-rounder and can move square or round bales that are both wrapped or unwrapped either in field or from trailers. Featuring a vertical stacking kit, this allows you to carry square bales with paddle clamping at the top. A double skinned headstock offers more strength at key stress points for superior strength.
The versatile bale handler has two tines hidden underneath hollow rollers and is the farmer friendly option for carrying round bales. The 90mm diameter rollers open to 1555mm and close to 760mm and removing the rollers reveal integral tines that allow spiking of bales.
Foster Bale Spikes
You can choose from three types of Foster bale spikes; the Eurospike, front bale spike and rear single bale spike.
The Eurospike is a front loader spike has Eurohook brackets welded on to it to fit straight onto a tractor loader. It can be fitted with two tines for lifting one bale or four tines for lifting two bales. It is ideal for lifting silage, haylage, hay and straw bales.
The heavy duty front bale spike can be fitted using 3-point linkage or front mounted with any bracket to carry two bales with four 980mm tines. Twin spikes are 4’6″ wide with the four tines, two in the top corners and two centrally at the bottom.
The rear single bale spike is a heavy duty spike for 3-point linkage attachment and for carrying one bale.
Foster Forage Boxes
With three models to choose from, the range of Foster forage boxes offer great value and a variety of sizes to suit smaller herds through to larger herds.
The Foster 600 Series forage box is ideal for small and narrow feeding passages and for smaller herds and features hydraulic control of bed and belt speed and has a discharge height of 36″ (915mm). The overall width is 75″ (1900mm)
The Foster 750 Series forage box offers slightly larger capacity and has a discharge height of 38″ (965mm) and an overall width of 90″ (2300mm).
The Foster 990 Series forage box is the biggest in the range but is 4 foot longer than the 750 Series forage box to create extra capacity. Sharing the same features as the other models, the benefit of the 990 Series is where delivery of feedstuffs is required to remote buildings, this model could carry enough for one journey, as opposed to two, which could be the case in the 600 Series and 750 Series models.
Foster Livestock Boxes
Foster livestock boxes are ideal for transporting livestock and other farm essentials around the farm or to fields and with two versions to choose from and the option for special build boxes, you can buy the right one for the job in hand.
The Foster mesh sided livestock box features a lid that raises and locks into position and a gate that drops down securely, all of which can be locked securely during transport. It also features a single barn door gate and a 60:40 partition gate for easy access.
The Foster steel sided box features a non-slip wooden floor (even when wet) and the rear of the box lifts back up on itself to store animals of other products securely. A single barn door gate at one side gives easy access.
Foster can also offer special build boxes which are ideal for carrying heavier animals such as calves and pigs.
Foster Scrub Cutters
Choose from the Foster Super Scrub Cutter or the range of Foster Rotary Slashers, both of which are strong, quality built and offer proven performance and are designed to work in the toughest of conditions.
The Foster super scrub cutters are ideal for farmers estate and moorland management who need to tackle thick gorse bushes, no matter how big or dense and feature heavy duty rotor discs that sit above and below the chain/blade retainer, a heavy duty gearbox and galvanised guard chains offering front and rear protection and provide a mulching effect. Optional extras include a blade kit, a rear deflector and a friction clutch on the PTO.
The Foster rotary slashers can be fitted with chains or blades to tackle bramble, light heather, gorse and general scrub. Thanks to its heavy duty construction, adjustable cutting height and square body profile with chain guards that creates a chamber to retain and mulch, this slasher offers versatility and performance when needed. Three models allow you to pick the most suitable one for the job.
- The RS1400 has a 4’6″ cut and is fitted with 3 chains/blades with Cat 1 and 2 linkage and is ideal for 35 to 65hp tractors
- The RS1700 has a 5’6″ cut and is fitted with 3 chains/blades with Cat 2 linkage and is ideal for 50 to 100hp tractors
- The RS2000 has a 6’6″ cut and is fitted with 4 chains/blades with Cat 2 linkage and is ideal for 70 to 120hp tractors
Foster Single Leg Subsoiler
The Foster single leg subsoiler is ideal for drainage on farmland, golf courses, driving ranges, caravan parks, estates and smallholdings for example. It is also perfect for relieving compaction in soil.
Foster Toppers
The Foster range of toppers also includes a hybrid slasher topper that is heavier duty than a normal pasture topper. All toppers though are built from the highest quality materials and offer outstanding performance. There are plenty of choices in the range to suit small paddocks right through to large acreages.
The Foster ST5 and ST6 slasher topper is a hybrid machine that is heavier duty than a normal pasture topper, but not as heavy duty as a rotary slasher or scrub cutter. The ST5 has a 4’6″ cutting width and the ST6 has a 5’6″ cutting width and are ideal for tractors 35 to 70hp. Fitted with 2 chains or blades at a fixed cutting height of 4 inches.
The Foster TL4 and TL5 is a single rotor topper ideal for tractors of 25hp and above. The cutting height is adjustable at 2″ and 4″ and a floating headstock allows the topper to follow ground contours. Shear bolt protection and an overrun clutch offer further safety.
The Foster TL6 and TL7 is a single rotor topper ideal for tractors of 45hp and above. The cutting height is adjustable at 2″, 4″ and 6″ and a floating headstock allows the topper to follow ground contours. Shear bolt protection and an overrun clutch offer further safety.
The Foster TL108 is a twin rotor topper with a large 9 foot cut and is ideal for high horsepower tractors and large acreages. The cutting height is adjustable at 2″, 4″ and 6″ and spring steel contra-rotating rotors are fitted with cranked blades with a 3” overlap to avoid striping. Shear bolt protection and an overrun clutch offer further safety.
Foster Transport Boxes
The range of Foster transport boxes have been designed make moving essentials around the farm, estate, golf course or anywhere else this type of attachment is needed. With a standard and heavy duty version available, these transport boxes can prove invaluable.
The Foster transport/link box has 5mm sides, a 3mm floor and scraper blade as standard and has a solid rear gate that pivots from top or bottom and has rope hooks either side. Cat 2 three point linkage comes as standard and A-Frames are optional.
The Foster heavy duty MM box is a heavier duty and larger transport box and is suitable for carrying heavier items and even small livestock such as lambs and piglets.
Foster Trailers
Foster manufacturer a 4 tonne and 6 tonne tipping trailer that are perfect for the farm, equestrian centre, golf course or anywhere needing this type of high quality, tough and robust trailer.
The Foster T40 is a 4 tonne trailer that has hydraulic brakes, parking brakes and rope hooks as standard, as well as full road lighting. With a fully welded one piece 3mm floor, this eliminates the risk of rust and having box section cross rails and main bearers, this provides strength and support to the trailer. A range of options including steel and mesh extension sides and super singles add to the trailer’s appeal.
The Foster T60 is a 6 tonne trailer that has hydraulic brakes, parking brakes and rope hooks all as standard, as well as full road lighting with rear light guards. With a fully welded one piece 4mm floor, this eliminates the risk of rust and having box section cross rails and main bearers, this provides strength and support to the trailer. A range of options including steel and mesh extension sides and super singles add to the trailer’s appeal.
Foster Yard Scrapers
With a choice of front or rear mounted scrapers, these Foster yard scrapers are ideal for working around the yard to quickly scrape clean a variety of muck and debris. Strong and long lasting rubber ensures a clean scrape and quality materials offer a long service life.
The Foster front yard scraper can be fitted to the front of a tractor, telehandler and skid or pivot steer. With a 50mm all rubber blade, the scraper can be easily changed from push to pull and conversion plates can be made for linkage mounted scrapers.
The Foster rear mounted yard scraper design mounts the pivot point behind the blade to give a more even scrape and even wear across the supple 35mm rubber blade. The scraper can easily be converted from push to pull by pulling a rope to release the chain.
